The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, which art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done,
in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
[For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.]
Amen.

The Fall

The Fall brought my third trimester-it was the most difficult time-I had a severe abscessed tooth, (which the Dentists said there was little they could do so i was put on an antibiotic that does not cross the placenta) painful carpel tunnel in both arms and a pregnancy rash that cover 90% of my body-I hated every moment of being pregnant. people kept telling me how beautiful I looked and how wonderful I was. I felt horrible everyday and very lonely. apart from all of that I also had a great sense of God's peace and presence. he was everywhere I went and in all situations reminding me of the joy that was coming.
During this time of anticipation I began to feel a strong sense that this little baby I was carrying was not mine. She utterly came form God and belonged to God-this was liberating, all the pressure of becoming a mom soon disappeared and i was left with this extreme joy that Paul and I were given the responsibility of caring for this little human that God desired and had a plan for... It was the beginning of my true spiritual adventure as a mother... THANKS BE TO GOD

Summer Pregnant Months

The summer brought with it severe humidity in Wiarton. There were folks here who told me Wiarton NEVER gets humidity-they were dead wrong.
On Friday July 1st FSBC was the only church at the Wiarton Canada Day celebrations. We had a both where we gave out over 400 FREE water bottles, Canadian flags, pins etc... and advertisements for our up-coming events at the church. It was a great day until I got heat stroke...
Spent the evening on the couch with tons of water and the air conditioning blowing on me-being pregnant in 30 degree weather is for the birds.

Ordination

My ordination on May 14, 2011 was a dream come true-I am so thankful for John Torrance's influence and care in my life... I am indebted to the folks at FSBC and the grateful for the support from the OSABC...

May Melodies

May brought spring beauty to Wiarton and I was thankful for better weather, which allowed for me to begin exercising outside.
May was a very full month, my Ordination plans were in full swing and so was my morining sickness!

My Great Uncle Gord Hobbs died on the same day as my exam council for ordination and I was sorry I could not be at his funeral.

Our 17th wedding anniversary was on the 28th , Paul and I decided to do the Bruce County Water Fall Tour 250 KM of gorgeous waters falls... It was a perfect day and our last Anniversary alone!
